Mini-YATs 2024 Summer Program

Registration Information

Join us for the Mini-YATs 2024 Summer Program!

This program brings the magic of theatre to life for children from ages 4 through entering 3rd grade. The staff will guide participants through music, dance, acting, and costuming culminating with a stage performance. All activities are age appropriate.

Program Dates and Times

Mini-YATs will run two separate two-week sessions:

  • Session 1 - Monday, May 28 through Friday, June 7  9:00am – 3:00pm ( weekdays - no camp on Memorial Day)

  • Session 2 - Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 21  9:00am – 3:00pm (weekdays) 

Performances:

  • Session 1 – Saturday, June 8th   10 a.m. 

  • Session 2 - Saturday, June 22nd 10 a.m.

The children will be supervised at all times with the minimum of a 5:1 student-staff ratio.  

 

COST: $360 for children of SLT Adult Members and $400 for Non-Members. The fee includes participation in one two-week session, participation in the Saturday performance, a cast photo and a souvenir program t-shirt, as well as a single coupon for show admission. Other tickets will be sold the morning of the performance.

 

ALL APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY APRIL 5th. Any applications received after the deadline will only be accepted if space permits.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

YATS 2024 Summer Program

Join us for the YATS 2024 Summer Program!

The YATS program structure is as follows:

  • Juniors: entering 4th grade through entering 6th grade 

  • Young Seniors: entering 7th grade through entering 9th grade 

  • Seniors: entering 10th grade through entering college freshman

Program Dates and Times

Audition Preparation Workshop: Tuesday, May 14:

* Juniors:  5:30-7:30pm 

* Young Seniors/Seniors:  7:30-9:30pm 

Rehearsals Begin: Sunday, May 19 (Readthru):

(See Program Calendar for Tentative Rehearsal schedule) 

 

Audition Schedule is as follows:        

* Juniors: Wed, May 15th  5:30-7:30pm 

* Young Seniors:  Wed, May 15th  7:30-9:30pm 

* Seniors:  Thurs, May 16th 6:00-9:00pm      

 *anyone with an audition conflict will be able to email an audition. Information will be provided later. 

Performance Dates:

*Juniors:  June 28,29 & 30 (2 shows on Sat)

* Young Seniors:  July 5,6 & 7 (2 shows on Sat)

*Seniors: July 13 & 14 (2 shows per day)

 

**Directors may schedule extra rehearsals if they feel it is necessary**

COST:

JUNIORS: $170 for SLT Adult Members and $190 for Non-Members

YOUNG SENIOR/SENIOR: $185 for SLT Adult Members and $220 for Non-Members

The summer tuition includes any workshops, participation in the summer production, a cast photo, a show poster, a YATS program t-shirt and 2 free tickets.  The summer tuition does not include the participant’s costume cost nor additional tickets to the performances.

 

ALL Applications are due by April 25. Any applications after the deadlone will only be accepted if space permits.

Mini YATS

For students entering grades Pre-K to 3rd grade
Sessions run Monday-Friday from 9am- 3pm with a performance at 10 a.m. on final Saturday morning

 

Session 1: May 28-June 7 with performance on June 8

(off on May 27) 
Session 2: June 10-June 21 with performance on June 22 

 

Juniors

For rising 4th-6th graders

Rehearsals begin on May 19 for all groups with a read through. A rehearsal calendar will be available with the applications.

Tech Week: June 23 – June 27 (times will vary daily and may begin early on some days)

Performances: June 28, 29 & 30 (TWO SHOWS ON SATURDAY)

 

 		  

Young Seniors

For rising 7th-9th graders

Rehearsals begin on May 19 for all groups with a read through. A rehearsal calendar will be available with the applications.

 

Tech Week: June 30  – July 3 (times will vary daily and may begin early on some days)

Performances: July 5, 6 & 7

(TWO SHOWS ON SATURDAY)

 		  

Seniors

Seniors: rising 10th grade - College Freshman

Rehearsals begin on May 19 for all groups with a read through. A rehearsal calendar will be available with the applications.

Tech Week: July 7 - July 11 (evenings)
Performances: July 13 and July 14 (TWO SHOWS PER DAY)

NO SHOW ON FRIDAY due to “Believe Camp"
