Slidell Little Theatre Reviews

 Was a great experience.

Awesome and fun show! Loved it!

So much fun! Cast were wonderful. AND the new seats and floor are great.

The cast was amazing. You could tell everyone was having such fun on stage with their parts. All the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I love coming to this little theatre and even drive across state lines to see the shows.

This was my first time attending a performance at the Slidell Little Theatre and the venue was lovely! It was very clean, organized and the seats were very comfortable and spacious! I can't wait to attend the next event.

It was a very entertaining play!!!

Fantastic! Horton, Maizy, the Wickersham bothers were my fave and that Grinch was a delight

 Very entertaining!

From now on, when I think about "Steel Magnolias" , I'll think about the SLT production instead of the movie!

Everyone was so kind and accommodating!

This was our first time visiting Slidell Little Theater. We loved everything about it.

 I loved it!

 What an incredible

We had trouble hearing some of the kids on stage during the show.

Our daughter loved being a part of the production and we enjoyed watching. She has fallen in love with theater! Thank you!

Was a blast. We definitely wanna come see it again.

 Great time!

The volunteers and kids really put their heart into performing.

Enjoyed this musical! Lively, colorful, energetic! Great for everyone! The boys (monkeys) MADE the show!!! 👏👏👏. Everyone performed their part wonderfully!!! Congrats to all!!! Also loved the new chairs!!!

I had a great time! I absolutely loved the performance. I could have done without being sprayed with water twice during the performance, but aside from that, it was a lot of fun and very entertaining!

Fun show, Castro/Stalin lookalike being the general of WhoVille was not on my bingo card lol

High energy, colorful, fun! The cast was truly talented and seemed to be having a great time while entertaining us! I loved it!

 Fabulous performance.

"Seussical" was fabulous 👌- The script is hilarious, and the players were all great as their characters. The staging and costumes were exceptionally good. It was all so much fun that I didn't want "the Musical" to end.

Loved the set, music and dancing. I brought my 5 year old granddaughter and she loved it! We clapped and cheered for all the characters.

Loved how each of the actors really developed and expressed their characters!! Awesome job!!!

The show was FUN. Horton was amazing!!

The show was absolutely amazing! I can tell all the hard work that was put into it! The attention to detail (the lights, the sound, and the set) was really well done. The kids were amazing and seemed to have great direction from the whole production staff!

Amazing talented performers and not a dull moment throughout!

You would never know this show was a summer program production with high school students! They were so talented and professional it was on the same level as the main stage shows! Everything from the lighting, to the sound, to the production itself was amazing!! I sat near the back and felt just as immersed as if I was in the front. Way to go everyone involved!! This will be a hard one to top next summer!!

 Best show ever!

Outstanding performance by the cast. The director did an amazing job!

 The show was amazing!

 The show was absolutely phenomenal!

Such an awesome show! These kids are so talented and such a joy to watch on stage 😍

Absolutely amazing! What a great show by some very talented kids! Loved it!

The show was absolutely amazing! It’s incredible what these young performers accomplished, and it’s clear they had wonderful teachers guiding them. The kids were truly set up for success, and their hard work and talent shined on stage. The set was beautiful, and every performer did an outstanding job. Congratulations to everyone involved in this fantastic production!

It was beautiful watching young children in a play putting their all into it! So heartwarming. Cruella was meant for the stage!

 Great Performance!!

This was a very cute production. I can tell everyone was well rehearsed. Ezra Garner playing Donkey was hilarious! Dee Carter playing Dragon really shined with her singing. Overall, it was hard to hear sometimes because not all of the microphones were working. I sit up front, so I was ok. Keep up the good work keeping us entertained!

Despite a significant microphone issue early on, the show itself was wonderful. The cast was phenomenal, and I enjoyed the diversity in age in cast members. The choreography was impressively tight. Everyone knew their job and did it well. There were definitely some poor singers among the cast, but the singing talent was placed strategically in ways that minimized this. The acting, blocking, and sets were all inspiringly good. I and my family had a really good time.

Absolutely fabulous, enjoyed by all. Everyone did a fantastic job but was most impressed by the donkey and Pinocchio

the best show i have ever watched and my favorite character was peter pan and i believe she would go so far on broadway! she has the face card, dance moves, and singing voice. if she doesn’t make it there it’s ok!, she will just stay and do more shows at slidell little theater and maybe even be a teacher some day… specifically a theater teacher!!! thank you next. xoxo anonymous!!!! (not peter i promise🤪)

Another absolute banger of a show. Lucas was amazing putting together the lovable yet grumpy swamp ogre. In general, still loving the production value of our Little Theater.

Play was good and well executed, except for the ideologies that were inserted into it. Stick to the play and leave the rest out.

 We really enjoyed the musical

 Enjoyed Shrek! So much talent!

Very entertaining! A little hard to hear all the words clearly at times from some actors. I missed out on the jokes. My granddaughter enjoyed it. 😊

My husband and throughly enjoyed the show! The performances were wonderful!!

It was well done. You could see the joy in all the actors faces. Loved the humor. Costumes were great and so were the props. Five stars for sure. Thank you.

Best one I’ve seen thus far at SLT. Actors were excellent in their roles! Kudos for set design, director, production crew and all involved in this play. LOVE IT!!!👏👏 👏

Good show, but the sound system wasn't functioning well. There was too much dialogue that I couldn't hear.

My only question that actually came to mind during the performance occurred when the actors seemed to take a circuitous route to the mid stage door. Other than that, I thought the direction was very good. All the actors did an outstanding job in their roles.

 It was so cold

 Love it!

The best ever! Having attended many plays at your little theater I have to say this was my favorite. The cast and acting was so well done. I thoroughly enjoyed it !

The show was awesome can't wait for the sequel!

Chris Frazier and Leo Harris were absolute stars!! I didn’t expect to be as into the story as I was, but it was very real and I was hanging on every word. The acting was very impressive.

EXCELLENT !!!!! DO NOT MISS THIS ONE !!!!!

Not my cup of tea. But the acting and production were excellent 👌.

Not really my cup of tea! Sorry

 Quite a performance!

I was not able to attend, but 6 of my friends went (we have a group of 12 w/season tickets). They all said it was VERY well done, and the singing voices were GREAT! They really enjoyed it.

Some of the words were hard to understand during high pitch musical parts.

Spectacular show! The actress who played Ms. Lovett was iconic.

I'm a Sondheim fanatic and very critical of any of his shows. The set was impressive and set changes good. The barber chair and dumping the bodies were poor. Acting by leads was good. My biggest disappointment was in several of the male voices. Lead actors in a musical should be able to sing but in this production, could not. Mrs. Lovett stole the show!

Outstanding performance at SLT! Superb performances by Brandon Bui, Brooke Hagler-Duffant, Tristen Walker, Elizabeth Lewis, Olivia Landry & Mallory Lott! Job well done! The entire cast added an extra layer that made the show really stand out. The set design and costume design was extraordinary! Your work was definitely noticed and you deserve your moment as well! And for those who haven’t seen this show yet, please see it this weekend and support Slidell’s local theater!!

 PHENOMENAL!

Best yet!!!! I loved the humor mixed in!

Excellent production of Sweeny Todd! A ten plus for set, voices, acting, production! Love dist!

Everyone acted and sang extremely well!!!! Well done! Great story!! Loved it!!

The show was amazing!!! Brandon Bui should be nominated for a Big Easy Award!!!

 Strange but entertaining.

So much fun and such a talented cast! We had a great time! The sets were amazing. We will definitely be back. Looking forward to seeing Shrek with the kiddos!

It was my first time seeing Suessical. It was really enjoyable. Cast was awesome & full of energy. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

 Already bought next season...

 great show!

Annie actor was great! Enjoyed it all.

Annie was awesome! Great talent!! Thank you! 😊 it was a great show!

Oh my goodness this was so great! The girl who played Annie was excellent! She really convinced me she was Annie and boy could she sing! She was adorable! All the actors were very good. I can't say enough good things about the play. Thank you ever one

All of the actors were extremely talented. It was a wonderful show. Looking forward to seeing more plays at SLT.

Such a wonderful production! The talent in the entire cast was absolutely amazing! Bravo!

 Fun evening

All the actors were awesome. I knew a few personally so that made it even better.

It was amazing! So many talented people!

 They did a great job

I didn’t attend Annie. No parking and at 67 yrs old I was not interested in walking from another business. I hope the parking gets better soon or will most likely not buying season tickets again.

The child who played "Annie" was absolutely phenomenal. She knocked it out of the park. I was blown away.

Great job by all the actors! Wonderful singers, deep talent in that bunch! Really enjoyed the play!

 The cast was excellent!.

 It was fun

 Very well done.

 Great show!

all of us really enjoyed the play!

 enjoyed it very much!

It was a lovely theater and an amazing production! All of the cast members were incredible!! I laughed, I cried, and my heart was warmed!

Loved it with the exception of it being difficult to hear. SLT is impressive!

 Wonderful play.

The production and actors were great!!! BUT the volume was awful!! Could barely hear most of the lines! Vol I me was so low! We had a group of 9 and everyone agreed as many people we talked with had the same comment!. Please be aware of this for future productions!!!!

The play was well directed, had great actors and kept our full interest!

Was a spectacular performance. Story was true to the movie...humor and emotion. Cast was wonderful.

The show's success hinges on the chemistry of the six leading ladies, and this cast was exceptional. From the start, the actors were so intuned they created a seamless, authentic portrait of lifelong friendship. Their collaborative energy made Truvy's beauty shop a safe haven where effortless banter flowed like hairspray.

Laughed and cried at a very good performance

Great show! I wasn’t sure how the story would go taking place entirely in the salon but you made it work! I’m glad we were sitting in the 3rd row as I don’t know if we would have been able to hear them if we were in the back. Thanks SLT!!

The show was fantastic! Very well cast, and Clairee had my cracking up!
