Our community theatre needs you!
Slidell Little Theatre (SLT), the oldest (1963) and most prominent community theatre organization on the Northshore, is actively seeking candidates for its Board of Directors.
Our mission is both educational and recreational, to promote, encourage, foster, stimulate and maintain an active and abiding interest in live theatre. As a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, SLT has a nine member Board of Directors, three of which are elected by the general membership each year to serve three-year terms. For this election, we are seeking candidates for the following three Board positions:
1) Vice President of Productions
3) Board Member At Large
The Nominations Committee will be meeting in late March to interview prospective candidates and recommend at least one candidate for each open position, to be presented at the annual membership meeting on 15 May for election to the Board of Directors. The term for the three elected individuals officially begins on 01 July 2017, with June being a transition period between the out-going and in-coming Board member.
