BLOCK-KIDS COMPETITION 2010


The Northshore, LA Chapter #339 of the National Association of Women in Construction will sponsor a Block Kids Building Program Competition on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Slidell Municipal Auditorium.  Registration will start at 8:30 a.m. and the competition will begin at 9:00, ending at approximately 11:00.

The Block Kids Building Program is a national building competition, which is sponsored on local levels.  Local winners advance to Regional competition, and one semi-finalist from each region is entered in the National Program competition.

The program is FREE and is open to all children enrolled in grades one (1) through six (6).

Each participant will be provided interlocking blocks and up to three (3) additional items to complete their project. 

Winners will receive Savings Bonds and Trophies.
