Welcome to Slidell Little Theatre, where the Magic Comes to Life!

Obviously, the world is trying to figure out how to contend with the COVID-19 global pandemic.  Slidell Little Theatre is hard at work to follow the Centers for Disease Control and the Governor of Louisiana guidlines to ensure the safety of everyone involved with the theatre.  That safety will remain our number one objective.  At the same time, we are trying to find a way forward to continue our mission and continue to serve our community.  It has not been easy.  There are a lot of interconnected parts.

The General Membership Meeting took place on

July 27, 2020 remotely through Zoom.

Visit the membership tab to review the annual membership report.

In light of the global pandemic and in consultation with the Slidell Fire Marshall, the decision was made to hold the Membership meeting remotely.  The theater space would have been limited to 50 people total.  The safer option and the option that afforded more participation was to conduct the meeting remotely.

With the current limitations in place and with great consideration to be fiscally responsible with the funds you all have so generously provided over the years and mindful of all of our volunteers' safety and time, we have determined it would be in the organization's best interest to postpone all large, main stage productions until 2021.

We know this is disappointing.  The Board and committee members are looking at other smaller scale events to hold at the theatre and we hope to be able to announce them soon.  We appreciate your continued understanding and flexibility.

SLT is a special place and that is due to all of our volunteers and patrons who have supported us throughout our history.  We appreciate all of your time and efforts.  Together, we will bring the magic to life!
